General Arin Ilejay Topic

In some ways, I don't want him to have a stage name.
But then, I also do.


It's so weird trying to think of a stage name for him.

I'd say cause he's Christian he should have Christ in there, but Johnny has that one haha.

Thoughts, anyone?

Oh my god it would break my heart if it didn't work out.
I think a LOT of people have taken to him to be honest.

I know if it's not right for them, they have to do what they have to do, but I am praying it works out.

Me too, because he just seems to fit.
His style is almost identical to Jimmy's and they get on, so fingers crossed.
Matt said in a Kerrang interview that it was more down to what writing with him was like than anything.

I'm pretty sure Arin will be around for a while. I believe Matt said "This is Arin, the guy who will be helping us keep A7X around for the next 25-35 years."

I don't know if he meant that Arin has stepped in at a time they needed someone to, which means they can now continue, or whether it means he'll stay with them.

We'll see...

I really, really hope he's permanent. He's just... perfect.

I first saw him in Battle Creek, Michigan in February and, I'll admit... when I first saw this little skinny kid walk out onto the stage I was like "WTF?" Then as soon as he started playing, me and my friend both looked at each other and went "HOLY CRAP!"

The kid can play... and he seems like such a sweetheart. I've heard nothing but positive things about him from the boys, and from fans who have met him. I truly believe he's a gift from Jimmy. At points during shows where I've seen him live I've had to do a double-take.

My friends and I took to calling him "Baby Jimmy" after the first show we saw him.

HE NEEDS TO STAY.

My dad is a huge Sevenfold fan, and I met up with him after they played at Download, and he was like

"Who is the new drummer?! He's fucking amazing!" I was just like 'Dammmmn straight'.


I think everyone has fallen in love with him.
