| I talked to my uncle on msn about music. I asked me which music I was listening to. I answered "Right now, Avenged Sevenfold". He responded "When did YOU started to listen to such awesome music?" "A long time ago" I said. "Well" he said "I saw them live twice in 2008, once in Oslo, and once in Trondheim. They were support for Iron Maiden". I was like "IN 1008? BEFORE JIMMY DIED! OMG YOU'RE SO DEAD! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?". I'm really jealus on him. He own me. He shall take me to a consert once. But it will be without Jimmy, and I don't like that thought. | |

| I know how you feel, my Mum didn't really listen to them until I got her into them recently, yet she kind of saw them in 09, at Sonisphere (which was Jimmy's last show ). | |

| That sucks! What I'm REALLY ashamed of (don't kill me), is that on the point he died, I wasn't THAT into them, so I was like "Yeah, he's dead, so what?", but when I started to love them, I was like "FACK HE'S DEAD! WHY GOD, WHY????". | |

| I remember everything I was doing on the day Jimmy died. It didn't sink in for me at first, because I woke up at 7am (in the UK so that's 11pm on the night he died in California) and checked twitter, saw the TT of 'RIP The Rev' I was like 'whaaaaaat?'. I didn't quite believe it at first, I had to travel to Cardiff, and when I got there I told some people and they were like 'yeh we heard that too' and I was like 'oh... '. Then I got home and told my dad and it sunk in and we were both sad. He played A7x all day as a tribute too haha... Suckkkkkkks man. | |

| I remember when a friend told me the day he died. I was like, "haha, yeah right, stop it man!" and BOOM the tears. I even wrote a long post on my blog about him. I remember it like it was yesterday, aw. | |

| I remember that day perfectly, too. Because it was so freakin' cold in my room, I'd moved my computer onto my bed (well, the monitor, mouse, keyboard and speakers lol... the tower was on the floor), and because I have a double bed, there was room for me to sleep in it, too.
I didn't shut the computer down that night, just turned off the monitor.
When I woke up, I had a text from my friend just saying "Have you heard about The Rev?" And when anybody says "Have you heard about...?" it's never good. Then I turned on my monitor and had an offline message on MSN from my friend saying "Don't know if you heard, but The Rev's dead."
This from someone who calls herself an A7X fan. I was like... Really? You know how much I LIVE for the band and you break it to me like that?
I didn't believe it... and then I went downstairs in tears and my Dad looked at me like O_O "What's wrong?"
I just started sobbing and said that the drummer from Avenged Sevenfold had died and he just held me and didn't let go.
I went to a Jimmy memorial in London a couple of weeks later, and met my best friend in the entire world. We'd never met each other before, never spoken or anything but because it was snowy and I didn't wanna get the train back home, she said I could stay at her house. We've been best friends ever since that day.
Jimmy has led me to the most amazing people.
I often think sometimes... If Jimmy was still here, these amazing people wouldn't be in my life. Of course, I'm not saying that I'm glad he's gone... I just believe that he gave me something amazing out of something heartbreaking. | |

| OMG. I just saw this on tumblr. - Quote :
- Jimmy’s parents sat us down before we went on tour and said, ” Listen, if you guys need to have fun out there you can’t feel guilty for having fun, you can’t feel guilty for thinking this rocks with Mike. You can’t sit there and feel guilty about anything. It’s not your fault, this is the way it has to be,you have to move forward and have fun on tour and if the record’s a success then enjoy that too .Don’t feel guilty, try and continue your life the way Jimmy would have wanted you to continue your life”
